In a cup-winning game for the ages, the Chicago Blackhawks won their fifth Stanley Cup in the club’s history — the second since 2010.
The Boston Bruins got an early lead, but the Blackhawks tied it up 1-1 early in the second period and the game remained that way until Boston scored in the 12th minute of the third period to go up 2-1.
The Blackhawks, however, tied and then took the lead with two quick goals in the last 90 seconds of play in the game. Both goalies should be commended — they each had over 20 saves.
It was a crazy ending to a great series between two great NHL teams.
