MTV is premiering two new shows on Monday (April 21), being billed as its #afternoonfeels hour of TV — watch the trailer above.

The first show is “The Ex and the Why,” which follows people who have lost the loves of their lives. Not that someone died, but the relationship just didn’t work out for some reason. The show will follow the various relationships as they try to figure out if they should move on or try to fall back in love.

Following the premiere of “The Ex and the Why” is the premiere of “Time’s Up,” which will also feature couples, but this time, something is forcing the couples to separate — college, a new job, etc. Each episode will follow one couple as they close in on the start of their long-distance relationship and whether or not they decide to stay together or break it off.

“The Ex and the Why” and “Time’s Up” air back to back starting at 6 p.m. ET/PT on MTV. Watch a couple preview clips below.
