“The Flash” is coming!

The CW unveiled the first extended trailer for its upcoming “Arrow” spinoff during the network’s upfronts presentation in New York City. Several minutes long and featuring footage from the “Flash” pilot, it’s safe to say that this is going to be incredible.

Unlike its parent show, “The Flash” looks to have more of a science-fiction feel to it, with both good and evil “meta-humans” and rifts in reality popping up all over Barry Allen’s Central City. It’s also possibly going to be more light-hearted and funny than the dark “Arrow.”

One of the highlights, however, may be the moment in which it becomes clear that Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) will pop up in the first episode, probably to give Barry a pep talk.

Grant Gustin, Candice Patton, Rick Cosnett, Danielle Panabaker, Carlos Valdes, Tom Cavanagh and Jesse L. Martin will star in the show that will air Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
