We probably have a few dead ends and red herrings still to come on “The Killing,” but the detectives on the Rosie Larsen case feel like they’re closing in on someone.

Unfortunately for Rosie’s teacher Bennett Ahmed (Brandon Jay McLaren), that someone is him.

In the above clip from Sunday’s (April 24) episode, Detectives Linden (Mireille Enos) and Holder (Joel Kinnaman) meet Ahmed at school to grill him about what they discovered last week: that Rosie had volunteered at a charity program that Ahmed worked for and that also has ties to the Richmond campaign. Holder is his usual in-your-face self, but Linden seems to be switching from observation to action as well.

Is Ahmed the killer? It’s doubtful we’ll find out on Sunday (and we have our doubts in general). But the tension on “The Killing” is starting to crank up, and we can’t wait to see how it plays out.

“The Killing” airs at 10 p.m. ET Sunday on AMC. For more on the show, follow “The Killing” on Twitter and Facebook.
