Finally, one movie is doing what all of the other can’t seem to. Batman and Superman will be appearing in the same film. That’s not all, though. You can also count Wonder Woman, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and the 2002 NBA All-Stars in for the action.
What could possibly bring all of these people and characters together, for one movie? Legos, of course. That’s right, “The Lego Movie” is real and it’s coming to theaters February 7, 2014. In addition to an impressive list of characters, the CGI movie comes with a great voice cast.
Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks, Morgan Freeman, Nick Offerman, Liam Neeson, Alison Brie, Will Ferrell and Charlie Day all have roles in the movie. The most impressive credit in the movie goes to Will Arnett, though. Arnett will provide a voice to Batman, in what may be the best casting ever.
The teaser for “The Lego Movie” brings the laughs and fun, plus a good amount of nostalgia for those who grew up playing with the multi-colored bricks. There’s even a nod to the very generic characters that came with sets during the 1980s. At this point, this looks like it’s going to be a good bit of fun, hopefully that’s how it turns out.
