Teaser trailers for “The Social Network” have been mostly about words. But the full-length trailer, which just hit the web, adds pictures, and it’s better for the addition.

The movie charting the creation of Facebook, founder Mark Zuckerberg (Jesse Eisenberg) and the people in his (real-life) circle is starting to look better and better to us — certainly more than it was just “the Facebook movie.” What it looks like now is a pretty classic tale of outsiders trying to get in, succeeding beyond their wildest dreams and then not knowing what to do. Hurt feelings, accusations and lawsuits follow.

“The Social Network,” directed by David Fincher and written by Aaron Sorkin (from Ben Mezrich‘s book) doesn’t look like it’s all that kind to Zuckerberg, and Eisenberg (“Zombieland,” “Adventureland”) is playing a little against his nice-guy type. But based on the trailer, at least, it works. (And so does the spooky choral version of Radiohead’s “Creep” that provides the soundtrack for the trailer.)

The movie also stars soon-to-be “Spider-Man” Andrew Garfield, Rashida Jones (“Parks and Recreation”), Joe Mazzello (“The Pacific”) and Justin Timberlake. It’s scheduled for release in October.
