As the TV season winds down, don’t get too sad because it’s immediately starting back up again. FX and FXX have quite a lineup of new shows premiering in the summer, plus a couple returning favorites.
For returning shows, “Wilfred” will premiere it’s final season on FXX Wednesday, June 25, at 10 p.m. ET/PT with back-to-back episodes. “The Bridge” is also back, with Season 2 premiering on FX Wednesday, July 8, at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
Then things get exciting with a slate of brand new shows to dig into. On Tuesday, June 24, “Tyrant” will debut on FX at 10 p.m. ET/PT. The series, from “Homeland” and “24” executive producer Howard Gordon, tells the story of an American family venturing to the Middle East when the son of a dictator ends a self-imposed 20-year exile from his homeland.
On Sunday, July 13, at 10 p.m. ET/PT, “The Strain” will premiere. The vampire series, based on the best-selling trilogy of novels by Guillermo Del Toro and Chuck Hogan, will run 13 episodes in its first season. Del Toro directed the pilot, and co-wrote it with Hogan.

Finally, “Married” will premiere on FX Thurday, July 27, at 10 p.m. The comedy, which features Nat Faxon and Judy Greer, will be paired with “You’re the Worst,” starring Aya Cash and Chris Geere, at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT.
