Adam Levine has revealed to “Extra” that his team mentor for “The Voice” Season 7 is none other than the incomparable Stevie Nicks, a Grammy-winning artist and most recently a guest-star on “American Horror Story: Coven.”

Levine jokes that he had to bribe and beg to get Nicks to agree to be his mentor for the upcoming season, but Nicks says in all seriousness, “I just think it’s a great show. He would never still be sitting here seven years later if this wasn’t a great show.”

Nicks first appeared on “The Voice” for the Season 1 finale, where she performed with eventual winner Javier Colon, who was Levine’s contestant.

In the interview, Levine also reveals how new coaches Pharrell Williams and Gwen Stefani are doing so far, which is “frighteningly” well.

“They’re so good and I’m such a huge fan of both of them,” says Levine. “It happened easily, smooth sailing from the beginning. They were frighteningly good at it.”

“The Voice” Season 7 premieres Monday, Sept. 22 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
