A “Phineas and Ferb” star is making his way to “The Walking Dead.” Vincent Martella, who voices Phineas Flynn on the Disney animated series, has joined the cast of the AMC hit as a character named Patrick.
“He’s right around Carl’s age,” 20-year-old Martella tells Entertainment Weekly. “He’s a little bit older. He’s one of the new people who Carl gets a little closer with. Carl hasn’t really had anybody his age, so now you kind of get to see Carl’s relationship with people his own age and that’s one of the things that Patrick is bringing to the show.”
Patrick is one of the new characters brought into the Prison after the end of Season 3. It’s unclear if he is someone from Woodbury, or if he is brought in from an outside group of survivors. Martella says he’s been a big fan of “The Walking Dead” since day one.
“I’ve watched it since its premiere,” he says. “It’s been such a cool thing for me to be a part of the show that I’m such a big fan of, because I don’t watch too much television religiously, like every single week. But this is one of those shows, so I’m really lucky.”
“The Walking Dead” Season 4 premieres on AMC on Oct. 13.
