After debuting at CinemaCon, an annual convention for movie theater owners, the latest trailer for “The Wolverine” has appeared online and features quite a bit of new footage. Included in the trailer was the first real look at the film’s antagonist, the Silver Samurai, though it’s very brief.
Hugh Jackman, the only thread connecting the entire “X-Men” universe, returns again as the movie’s title character. The Silver Samurai will be portrayed by Will Yun Lee. The character is a Japanese mutant with the power to charge nearly any object with mutant energy. He is most-known for his katana blade, which can cut through anything except adamantium, the metal fused to Wolverine’s bones.
