– Tom Bergeron will step aside as host of “America’s Funniest Home Videos” after next season, his 15th with the show. “I’ve decided that, after 15 wonderful seasons as host of ‘AFV,’ next year, the show’s 25th annviersary(!!), will be my last,” he says in a statement. Bergeron hosts “Dancing With the Stars” and says he’s also pitched a live “AFV” spinoff to the network. [Vulture]

– HBO has released a teaser for Season 3 of its comedy “Veep,” premiering April 6, and it appears that Selina (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) has just about had it with her job as vice president. Take a look (some NSFW language):

– Watch out, “Sharknado.” Syfy has lined up its next TV movie and
even cast a respected actress in the lead role. Linda Hamilton
(“The Terminator”) will star in “Bermuda Tentacles”  as an
admiral aboard a U.S. Navy aircraft carrier, searching for the missing
Air Force One in the Bermuda Triangle. During the voyage they awaken an
“ancient monster” that threatens to destroy the world. “Bermuda
Tentacles” premieres Saturday, April 12 on Syfy.

– Mark Wahlberg will be getting plenty of love at the 2014 MTV Movie Awards. MTV announced that he will be the recipient of the Generation Award at the annual awards show. The cast of “Entourage” — which Wahlberg executive produces — will present him the award. This will be the first official reunion of Adrian Grenier, Kevin Connolly, Jerry Ferrara and Kevin Dillion before the “Entourage” movie is released in June 2015.

– Adult Swim has greenlit a live-action series called “Black Jesus” from “The Boondocks” creator Aaron McGruder. The half-hour show, premiering later this year, finds Jesus (Gerald “Slink” Johnson) living in present-day Compton, Calif., and attempting to spread his message of love and peace with the help of a small band of followers.

– Mary Elizabeth Winstead (“The Spectacular Now,” “Scott Pilgrim vs. the World”) will star in ABC’s drama pilot “Exposed.” She was approached for several pilots this season but settled on the project from writer Charles Randolph (“Love & Other Drugs”) about an investigative reporter.
