Jack Bauer came back with a bang on FOX, with the “24: Live Another Day” premiere improving on last week’s “The Following” finale and the previous new “Bones” episode by an average of 2.5 million viewers. Its ratings were also only slightly down from the average of Season 8, which aired four years ago. “24” also earned FOX second place in the adults 18-49 demo behind NBC.

However, “Dancing With the Stars”  was still the top show of the night, earning an average of 12.75 million viewers to propel ABC to a total-viewers win. Over on NBC,  “The Voice” and “The Blacklist” held steady from a week ago in total viewers and earned the Peacock the demo win.

ABC was tops in total viewers with 11.5 million viewers and a 7.6 rating/12 share in households on the night. NBC was second with with 10.7 million viewers and a 6.6/11, followed by FOX at 8 million viewers and a 4.6/7, CBS at 5.1 million and a 3.4/6 and The CW at 973,000 and a 0.6/1.

In the adults 18-49 demographic, NBC won with a 2.9, followed by FOX (2.5), ABC (1.8), CBS (1.3) and The CW (0.4).
