almost human premiere ratings TV ratings: 'Almost Human' has decent premiere and the NFL wins another SundayFast National ratings for Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013

The debut of “Almost Human” on FOX Sunday drew decent numbers, but it also lost a good amount of its NFL lead-in and dropped off some in its second half. Still, it ranks among the better drama premieres of the fall, and FOX says it was the highest-rated entertainment program of the night among women 18-49.

Also Sunday, a highly anticipated “Sunday Night Football” matchup between Kansas City and Denver drew big numbers for NBC. “The Mentalist” had its biggest total audience since its season premiere, and “Revenge” and “Betrayal” were up a little bit for ABC. “Once Upon a Time,” however, took a little bit of a hit.

NBC scored 20.8 million viewers and an 11.9 rating/18 share in households for the night, double the 10.4 million and 6.0/9 for second-place FOX. (Both networks’ numbers will be adjusted for live broadcasts.) CBS (10 million, 6.3/10) came in third, and ABC (5.6 million, 3.5/5) trailed.

NBC’s 7.5 rating among adults 18-49 beat the combined total of the other three networks. FOX was the best of the rest with a 3.8. CBS posted a 1.6 and ABC a 1.4.
