NBC’s dramedy “Camp” had a so-so start Wednesday, scoring a better adults 18-49 rating than most of the other scripted shows that have launched this summer but also falling off a good amount in its second half-hour.

“America’s Got Talent” was the night’s top show. “Masterchef” was down a little from its last original telecast but still led FOX to a win among adults 18-49. “Big Brother” was up over last week for CBS, while the finale of “The American Baking Competition” was flat.

NBC averaged 7.3 million viewers and a 4.5 rating/8 share in households for the night, leading second-place FOX (5.3 million, 3.2/5) by a pretty good margin. CBS (4.95 million, 3.2/6) came in third. ABC was fourth with 2.8 million viewers and a 1.9/3. The CW drew a little over 1 million viewers and a 0.8/1.

FOX topped the 18-49 demographic with a 2.1 rating, beating out NBC’s 1.8. CBS finished third with a 1.4, doubling up ABC’s 0.7. The CW posted a 0.3.
