zero hour premiere ratings TV ratings: 'Community' tumbles on Valentine's Day while 'Zero Hour' premieres softlyFast National ratings for Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013

Ratings were down more or less across the board on Valentine’s Day, as people were out celebrating their love and whatnot. But while overall TV usage was down about 5 percent, NBC’s “Community” suffered a much bigger fall. Its adults 18-49 rating dropped from 1.9 for its premiere last week to 1.1 Thursday.

Elsewhere, ABC’s “Zero Hour” premiered pretty weakly, with only a 1.3 in the 18-49 demographic. The soft lead-in pushed “Grey’s Anatomy” down some, but “Scandal” stayed strong, topping “Grey’s” in adults 18-49 for the first time. “Glee” was also down for FOX.

CBS led the night with 13.8 million viewers and an 8.4 rating/14 share in households. FOX (8.75 million, 5.3/8) came in second, a little bit ahead of ABC (7.6 million, 5.0/8). NBC was a fairly distant fourth with 3.5 million viewers and a 2.2/4. The CW (1.9 million, 1.2/2) trailed.

CBS also led the 18-49 demo with a 3.3 rating. FOX took second with a 2.7. ABC finished third with a 2.3, followed by NBC, 1.5, and The CW, 0.8.
