NBC’s “Healing in the Heartland” benefit concert scored Wednesday night’s biggest audience as it raised money for victims of the Oklahoma tornadoes. It was also the No. 2 show of the night in adults 18-49, trailing FOX’s “Masterchef,” which improved on its numbers from last week.

The other cooking contest on the air Wednesday didn’t do so well. “The American Baking Competition” on CBS managed only a 1.0 rating among adults 18-49.

NBC averaged 6.5 million viewers and a 4.3 rating/7 share in households in primetime. CBS (5.7 million, 3.9/7) finished second overall, a little ahead of FOX (5.4 million, 3.3/6). ABC took fourth with 4.1 million viewers and a 2.8/5. The CW drew 1.3 million viewers and a 0.8/1.

FOX posted a 2.2 rating among adults 18-49 to lead the demographic race. NBC finished second with a 1.5. ABC’s 1.1 was good enough for third, edging CBS’ 1.0. The CW averaged 0.4 in the demo.
