jason biggs sarah chalke mad love320 TV ratings: 'Mad Love' has OK premiere on a quiet Valentine's DayFast National ratings for Monday, Feb. 14, 2011

Whatever America was doing on Valentine’s Day, it wasn’t watching as much TV as usual. Ratings were down pretty much across the board compared to last Monday; CBS dipped the least and scored a fairly easy win for the evening, while its new comedy “Mad Love” premiered to ratings basically in line with the show it replaced, “Rules of Engagement.”

CBS averaged 11.2 million viewers and a 6.8 rating/11 share in households for the night, coasting to victory over second-place ABC (9.1 million, 5.9/10). FOX (8.6 million, 5.1/8) came in third. NBC drew 6 million viewers and a 3.7/6 to finish fourth, while The CW managed only 1.35 million viewers and a 0.9/1.

CBS also led among adults 18-49 with a 3.4 rating, down only a tenth of a point from last week. ABC and FOX tied for second in the demographic at 2.7, while NBC scored a 1.6. The CW drew a 0.7.
