The first “America’s Got Talent” results show of the season was in line with its performance last year — but that’s not entirely good news.

The show hit a season low among adults 18-49, although it still tied for the lead in the demographic with FOX’s “Masterchef.” “Big Brother” was even with its performance from a week ago.

NBC brought in 7.05 million viewers and and a 4.3 rating/7 share in households for the night. CBS (5.6 million, 3.7/6) finished second overall, beating out FOX (4.3 million, 2.6/4). ABC came in fourth with 2.9 million viewers and a 1.9/3, and The CW (1.1 million, 0.7/1) trailed.

FOX led the 18-49 demo with a 1.7 rating, narrowly beating NBC’s 1.6. CBS was third at 1.4, followed by ABC, 0.8, and The CW, 0.3.
