FOX’s “24: Live Another Day” ended on an up note Monday as its finale improved a little on last week’s ratings. “Under the Dome” was also up for CBS, rebounding a little from last week’s series low in adults 18-49.

Elsewhere Monday, “American Ninja Warrior” scored its biggest total audience of the summer, although it was down a tenth in the 18-49 demo. “Masterchef” and “The Bachelorette” also dipped slightly. The premieres of “Backpackers” and “Seed” on The CW drew modest numbers.

FOX led a tight viewer race with 6 million people and a 3.6 rating/6 share in households in primetime. CBS (5.8 million, 3.7/6) edged ABC (5.7 million, 3.8/6) for second place. NBC (4.6 million, 2.7/5) came in fourth, and The CW (875,000, 0.6/1) trailed.

FOX also led the adults 18-49 demographic with a 1.7 rating. ABC and CBS tied for second at 1.4, with NBC right behind with a 1.3. The CW posted a 0.3.
