nba finals 13 game 7 TV ratings: NBA Finals Game 7 scores big for ABC Thursday, 'Hannibal' ends quietlyFast National ratings for Thursday, June 20, 2013

The Miami Heat’s second consecutive NBA championship gave ABC big ratings Thursday night. The game’s metered-market rating of 17.7 was the second highest-rated NBA game the network has ever aired, and it dominated the night.

Elsewhere, NBC’s “Hannibal” ended its season quietly, tying the season low among adults 18-49 that it reached last week. “Hell’s Kitchen” fared better, holding steady in viewers vs. last week and dipping a tenth of a point in the 18-49 demographic.

ABC brought in 17.8 million viewers and a 10.5 rating/18 share in households in primetime, pending updates for the live NBA broadcast, three times the number of viewers as second-place CBS (5.9 million, 4.0/7). FOX (3.7 million, 2.4/4) finished third, followed by NBC (1.8 million, 1.3/2) and The CW (981,000, 0.6/1).

ABC also ruled the 18-49 demo with a 7.1 rating. FOX was the best of the rest at 1.4. CBS averaged a 1.0 in the demographic, NBC a 0.6 and The CW a 0.3.
