The introduction of another potential “NCIS” spinoff helped the parent show’s ratings improve a little bit Tuesday. “NCIS: Los Angeles” and “Person of Interest” rose as well as CBS swept the night.

Elsewhere, the season finale of “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” improved on last week’s numbers for FOX. “The Voice” dipped some for NBC, but “About a Boy” and “Growing Up Fisher” were fairly steady. “Supernatural” was up for The CW.

CBS delivered 15 million viewers and a 9.3 rating/15 share in households for the night, easily beating second-place NBC’s 7.8 million and 4.9/8. FOX (2.6 million, 1.7/3) finished a distant third. ABC (2.35 million, 1.6/3) was fourth with a night of mostly repeats, and The CW (1.8 million, 1.2/2) trailed.

CBS also led the adults 18-49 demographic with a 2.3 rating, edging NBC’s 2.1. FOX took third with a 2.1, and ABC and The CW tied for fourth at 0.7.
