colts texans nov 3 13 rtgs TV ratings: NFL dominates Sunday, late starting 'Good Wife' risesFast National ratings for Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013

Per usual, NFL games ruled Sunday night’s ratings, with both NBC’s “Sunday Night Football” broadcast and an afternoon game that ate up an hour of primetime on CBS producing big numbers.

The CBS game helped “The Amazing Race” and “The Good Wife” to improved ratings as they started an hour later than usual. (“The Mentalist” aired a repeat out of primetime.) ABC’s “Once Upon a Time,” “Revenge” and “Betrayal” all rose a little bit. “Family Guy” was even with its last original episode four weeks ago, but the rest of FOX’s animated shows were down a little.

CBS led the total-viewer race in primetime with 14.35 million along with an 8.9 rating/14 share in households. NBC (12.6 million, 7.7/12) finished second; both its and CBS’ numbers will be adjusted for their live NFL telecasts. ABC (6.1 million, 3.8/6) came in third, and FOX (4.3 million, 2.5/4) trailed.

NBC won the adults 18-49 title with a 4.6 rating, beating the 3.3 for second-place CBS. FOX scored a 1.9 and ABC a 1.6.
