pro bowl 2013 ratings TV ratings: Pro Bowl gives NBC a Sunday ratings win while 'The Good Wife' fallsFast National ratings for Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013

The NFL’s annual all-star game, the Pro Bowl, wasn’t much of a contest on the field, and its ratings were off some from last year. It did, however, put NBC on top of the ratings heap Sunday night.

Elsewhere, “The Good Wife” started 2013 with a series low among adults 18-49, and ABC’s movie “The Makeover” fizzled. FOX’s animation block finished second for the night in the 18-49 demographic.

NBC averaged 9.9 million viewers and a 5.9 rating/9 share in households for the night, narrowly winning the total-viewer crown over CBS (9.7 million, 6.4/10). ABC (5.2 million, 3.3/5) came in third, and FOX (3.95 million, 2.2/3) trailed.

NBC’s lead among adults 18-49 was wider. The Peacock posted a 3.3 rating in the demographic, well ahead of FOX’s 1.9. CBS drew a 1.5 and ABC a 1.2.
