The explosive Season 5 finale of “Rookie Blue” tied its season high and was also up a million viewers from the Season 4 finale a year ago. The two-hour finale also rose nearly a million viewers between the first and second hours. Elsewhere, “Big Brother” was once again the top show of Thursday night in the adults 18-49 demo, up a point from last week. Everything else was pretty quiet, as there were a lot of reruns this week.

CBS led the night with 5.9 million viewers and a 3.7 rating/7 share in households, followed by ABC at 4.7 million viewers and a 3.1/6. The rest of the field trailed — FOX at 2.82 million and a 1.8/3, NBC at 2.8 million and a 1.9/3 and The CW at 585,000 and a 0.4/1.

In the adults 18-49 demographic, the title also went to CBS with a 1.5 rating, followed by ABC at 1.0, FOX and NBC tied at 0.7 and The CW at 0.2.
