The finale of “The Voice” scored the show’s best final-episode ratings ever on Tuesday, improving by more than 2 million viewers and half a point in adults 18-49 over last spring’s finale.

CBS — the only other network running all original programming — also had a good night. All three of its dramas were up over last week in adults 18-49, and “NCIS” and “NCIS: Los Angeles” improved in viewers too. ABC’s comedies “Happy Endings” and “Don’t Trust the B—- in Apt. 23” held steady from last week despite airing opposite “The Voice.”

CBS averaged 14.85 million viewers and a 9.4 rating/15 share in households for the night. NBC finished second with 12.05 million viewers and a 7.1/11. There was a steep drop from there to third-place ABC (4.2 million, 2.6/4). FOX (1.9 million, 1.2/2) was fourth with a night of reruns, and The CW (1.4 million, 0.9/1) brought up the rear.

NBC finished on top of the adults 18-49 demographic with a 4.0 rating, easily beating CBS’ 2.6. ABC took third with a 1.6, followed by FOX, 0.8, and The CW, 0.5.
