the voice s6 finale ratings TV ratings: 'The Voice' finale tops 'DWTS' Tuesday, 'I Wanna Marry Harry' tanksFast National ratings for Tuesday, May 20, 2014

A night of competition-show finales Tuesday resulted in a split decision: “The Voice” captured an adults 18-49 win for NBC — albeit with numbers well below last spring’s finale — while “Dancing With the Stars” brought in the biggest total audience.

Also Tuesday, the premiere of “I Wanna Marry Harry” on FOX drew weak numbers, losing more than half of its “American Idol” lead-in and finishing last in its hour. The season finale of “Supernatural,” on the other hand, was up over last week for The CW.

ABC averaged 13.7 million viewers and an 8.8 rating/14 share in households for the night, topping NBC’s 10.2 million and 6.0/10. CBS (4.85 million, 3.2/5) came in third. FOX (4.3 million, 2.7/4) took fourth, and The CW trailed with 1.7 million viewers and a 1.1/2.

NBC scored a 2.8 rating among adults 18-49 to take the demographic title. ABC was second at 2.1, followed by FOX at 1.2. CBS (0.9) barely beat The CW (0.8) for fourth.
