“The Voice” held onto its position as Tuesday’s top show among adults 18-49 — barely. The show hit a series low in the demographic and barely kept in front of “NCIS” (which was also down) for the night’s No. 1 spot.

Elsewhere, the season finales of “New Girl” and “The Mindy Project” both ticked up for FOX, while “The Goldbergs” and “Trophy Wife” dropped for ABC (though “Goldbergs” still beat “New Girl” head-to-head). “The Originals” and “Supernatural” were down for The CW, while “Chicago Fire” got a slight bump on NBC.

CBS easily led the night in viewers, drawing 13.4 million people and an 8.7 rating/14 share in households. NBC (7.7 million, 5.0/8) finished a distant second. ABC took third with 3.7 million viewers and a 2.3/4. FOX (2.3 million, 1.5/3) was fourth and The CW (1.6 million, 1.0/2) fifth.

CBS also won the 18-49 title with a 2.1 rating. NBC was not far behind with a 1.9. ABC posted a 1.3 to finish third, followed by FOX, 1.0, and The CW, 0.7.
