under the dome season 2 premiere ratings TV ratings: 'Under the Dome' Season 2 premiere down but still solid for CBSFast National ratings for Monday, June 30, 2014

The Season 2 premiere of “Under the Dome” was down nearly 3 million viewers and more than half a point in adults 18-49 from its Season 1 finale. It was still, however, the most-watched show of the night by a decent margin and was enough to propel CBS to a win in total viewers, despite the rest of the Eye’s lineup being reruns. It was also the most-watched scripted program of the summer so far in adults 18-49.

Elsewhere, “The Bachelorette,” “Mistresses,” “Masterchef” and “Beauty and the Beast” were all up slightly over last week and “24: Live Another Day” held steady.

CBS led the night in viewers with 6.9 million and a 4.4 rating/7 share in households, followed by ABC at 5.6 million and a 3.7/6, FOX at 5.5 million and a 3.4/6, NBC at 3.98 million and a 2.3/4 and The CW at 1.3 million and a 0.8/1.

In the adults 18-49 demographic, FOX took first with a 1.7 rating, followed by CBS (1.6), ABC (1.4), NBC (1.2) and The CW (0.4).
