Episode 2 of “Extant” held up reasonably well for CBS Wednesday, dropping just one-tenth of a point in adults 18-49 and helping CBS score an across-the-board win for the night.

“Big Brother” also ticked up a little, keeping its spot as the night’s top show in the 18-49 demographic. FOX’s “So You Think You Can Dance,” however, was down.

CBS averaged 6.5 million viewers and a 4.1 rating/7 share for the night, topping second-place NBC (5.55 million, 3.5/6) by about a million viewers. FOX (3.6 million, 2.3/4) edged ABC (3.5 million, 2.4/4) for third. The CW trailed with 724,000 viewers and a 0.5/1.

The Eye also led the 18-49 race with a 1.5 rating. NBC came in second with a 1.1, followed by FOX, 1.0; ABC, 0.9; and The CW, 0.3.
