– Donal Logue is taking yet another high-profile TV role. As if he isn’t
already one of the busiest men on the small screen with “Gotham” and
“Vikings,” Logue will be extending his star as Lieutenant Declan Murphy,
acting commander of the Special Victims Unit, on “Law & Order: SVU.” He is scheduled to appear through the end of the current season.

“The Voice” has announced its first tour, bringing fan-favorite contestants together in summer 2014 for a nationwide series of concerts that will hit 31 venues from New York to Los Angeles. Already confirmed to appear are Tessanne Chin, Jacquie Lee and Will Champlin from Season 5, plus Season 1’s Dia Frampton and the winner, runner-up and third-place finishers from the currently-airing Season 6. America will be able to vote via social media in May for another fan-favorite to be included. Tickets go on sale April 17 at and the tour kicks off June 21.

– Syfy’s “Defiance” has landed Linda Hamilton for a Season 2 guest role. The “Terminator” star will recur as Pilar McCawley, the long-lost wife of Rafe McCawley (Graham Greene). She had a breakdown after the Votan arrival and tried to murder their three kids, but has returned from a mental institution seemingly ready to make amends. Her real agenda, however, might go a little deeper than that. “Defiance” returns to Syfy June 19.

– TNT has greenlit “Librarians,” a drama series based on its “Librarian” movie franchise that starred Noah Wyle. He’ll recur in the series (and is also an exec producer), which follows a new group of librarians charged with finding and protecting ancient and mythical artifacts. The show’s cast includes Rebecca Romijn, John Larroquette, Christian Kane (“Leverage”), Lindy Booth and John Kim. Bob Newhart and Jane Curtin will also reprise their roles from the movies.

– Amazon Studios has greenlit two new pilots for its upcoming third pilot season, which will debut later this year on Amazon Instant Video. The first is “The Cosmopolitans,” a half-hour dramatic comedy starring Adam Brody and Chloe Sevigny about a group of young Americans expatriates in Paris searching for love and friendship. It begins shooting this week on location in Paris. The second is “Hand of God,” a drama about Judge Harris (Ron Perlman), a hard-living,
law-bending married man with a high-end call girl on the side, who
suffers a mental breakdown, and goes on a vigilante quest to find the
rapist who tore his family
apart. Dana Delaney stars as the judge’s wife, Alona Tal as their daughter and Garret Dillahunt as a born-again sociopath.

– The Paley Center for Media celebrates television with its annual PaleyFest, but now that weeks-long series of panels is becoming TV. In conjunction with Passion distribution, the company behind the Sundance series “The Writers’ Room” and “Iconoclasts,” the Paley Center is producing a six-episode series highlighting some of the best panels from the past PaleyFests called “Access Paley Center.” The new show will feature “The Big Bang Theory,” “Mad Men,” “The Walking Dead” and more, and will premiere in Cannes.

“Around the Horn” host Tony Reali is moving his ESPN show to New York later in the year, and when he does he’ll also become a contributor on sister network ABC’s “Good Morning America.” Reali will function as the show’s social media contributor, spending his time in the “Social Square.”
