CBS is bringing Stephen King‘s novel “Under the Dome” to life this summer with a series of the same name — “no one can get in, no one can get out,” teases King. Now get your first look at this dramatic new program.

“Under the Dome” tells the story of small Maine town Chester’s Mill, which suddenly finds itself cut off from the outside world via an invisible, but impenetrable dome. The show stars “Breaking Bad’s” Dean Norris, “Supernatural’s” Colin Ford and “The Secret Circle’s” Britt Robertson, among a plethora of others.

The above video highlights some of the visual effects used for the program, as well as teasing some scary scenes — it wouldn’t be Stephen King without some scares. The 13-week event kicks off Monday, June 24.
