The first teaser for the upcoming final season of the web series “Video Game High School” is here, and it’s an interesting one. Ted (Jimmy Wong) is naked, riding a jet ski and shooting a machine gun all in an effort to let fans know Season 3 will finally premiere on Oct. 13.
The show follows students at a high school where, instead of sports, they play video games. There’s no football team, but there is one for first-person shooters, while instead of baseball there’s racing or rhythm gaming. The first two seasons can be viewed for free on YouTube.
All three seasons of “Video Game High School” have been completely crowd-sourced, with Season 3 raising nearly $900,000. Former “iCarly” star Nathan Kress is joining the show for its final season, playing “the biggest villain that ‘VGHS’ has ever seen.”
