A flash mob is as good a way of kicking off Christmas Eve as any. Make it a flash mob themed around “A Charlie Brown Christmas” and suddenly things get taken to a new level.
Enter the team at Mashable, who surprised New Yorkers with a recreation of that memorable dancing scene set to Vince Guaraldi’s “Linus & Lucy.” The dancers know all of the signature moves, everyone’s wearing the right costumes, and there’s even Linus on piano and Pig Pen on cello. Of course, “A Charlie Brown Christmas” wouldn’t be complete without Snoopy, who makes an appearance as well.
The only person you don’t see dancing in the video is Charlie Brown, which makes sense because he’s off-stage, directing.

Chris E. Hayner is equal parts nerd, crazy person and coffee. He watches too much TV, knows more about pro wrestling than you do and remembers every single show from the TGIF lineup. You may have seen him as a pro-shark protester in "Sharknado 3." His eventual memoir will be called "You're Wrong, Here's Why..." TV words to live by: "I'm a firm believer that sometimes it's right to do the wrong thing."
