Check out this blast from the past of Barbara Walters, who recently retired from “The View.” The above clip shows a much-younger Walters on a “Meet the Press” appearance in 1976 interviewing Yitzhak Rabin, the then-prime minister of Israel.

Walters may be off the air for “The View,” but she hasn’t retired completely. She’ll continue to work behind the scenes at the morning show she launched in 1997. She also hasn’t said if she has anything else in the works now that she’s “retired,” but she did say her plans on the first day not appearing on “The View” include sleeping in.

You deserve it, Babs.
