When Bruce Springsteen, New Jersey’s favorite son, appeared on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” Tuesday (Jan. 14), it was the perfect time to discuss Governor Chris Christie and the Bridgegate scandal.
Why talk about something when you can sing, though? Springsteen and Jimmy Fallon, in his best Springsteen costume, performed a parody of “Born to Run” aimed at the governor and the traffic scandal he finds himself in.
Christie’s office has come under fire after emails were released showing that certain individuals in his administration had purposely causes mass traffic congestion in Fort Lee, N.J., with many hypothesizing that it was retaliation for a lack of support for the governor by local officials.
What did you think of this parody?

Chris E. Hayner is equal parts nerd, crazy person and coffee. He watches too much TV, knows more about pro wrestling than you do and remembers every single show from the TGIF lineup. You may have seen him as a pro-shark protester in "Sharknado 3." His eventual memoir will be called "You're Wrong, Here's Why..." TV words to live by: "I'm a firm believer that sometimes it's right to do the wrong thing."
