Wednesday (June 18) was a good night for fans of the L.A. Dodgers. Pitcher Clayton Kershaw threw the first no-hitter of his career, shutting out the Colorado Rockies in a game at Dodger Stadium.
All told, Kershaw scored a career-high 15 strikeouts, moving the Dodgers to just four games behind the Giants in the National League West. It was the 25th no-hitter in franchise history and the second since Hideo Nomo’s in 1996.
Below, you can watch Kershaw get doused in Gatorade as he reacts to his accomplishment.

You may have seen him as a pro-shark protester in "Sharknado 3." His eventual memoir will be called "You're Wrong, Here's Why..." TV words to live by: "I'm a firm believer that sometimes it's right to do the wrong thing."
