Jaycob Curlee may be an early frontrunner for “America’s Got Talent” Season 9, as his stirring cover of “Waiting on the World to Change” wows both the audience and the judges. Watch above for the amazing audition.

Heidi Klum says she’s “a fan” and Howard Stern adds that he would invest his own money in Jaycob because he’s that good. Mel B. compares him to Ed Sheeran, but the best comment comes from Howie Mandel, who says, “You sang with so much soul, like you’ve lived a life longer than your yours.”

Jaycob talks about growing up in foster care and saying he felt like nobody loved him, but his adopted mother is there and Howie says, “‘America”S Got Talent’ has now adopted you and loves you too.” Awww.
