The easy breakout hit song from Disney’s “Frozen” is Idina Menzel’s performance of “Let It Go.” However, the other songs in what is now the highest-grossing animated movie of all time cannot be denied.
In particular, “House of Lies” star Kristen Bell’s “Do You Want to Build A Snowman” stands out. Her character, Anna, begins the song as a child. She grows through her teenage years and into adulthood be by the time it ends. During a special event showcasing the movie’s music in Los Angeles, Bell performed the song live.
With Anna cut off from her elder sister growing up, Bell is able to convey both the humor and emotional toll of the piece flawlessly. At this point, there’s been no official announcement of a sequel to “Frozen,” but with a box office total north of a billion dollars it’s only a matter of time.
