NBC has two new shows launching in May — a medical drama called “The Night Shift” and a half-hour comedy called “Undateable,”

“The Night Shift” focuses on the men adn women who work the graveyard hours at San Antonio Memorial Hospital, where every shift is a fight between the heroic efforts of saving lives and the hard truths of running an underfunded hospital. It stars Eoin Macken, Scott Wolf, Ken Leung, Robert Bailey Jr., Jill Flint, Jeananne Goossen, Brendan Fehr, JR Lemon and Daniella Alonso. Watch the trailer above.

Below, check out the first sneak peek at “Undateable,” the new comedy from Bill Lawrence (“Scrubs,” “Cougar Town”) and Adam Sztykiel (“Due Date”), starring Chris D’Elia, Brent Morin, Ron Funches, Rick Glassman, David Fynn and Bianca Kajlich as a group of lovable losers trying to get their lives together.

“The Night Shift” premieres Tuesday, May 27 at 10 p.m. ET/PT and “Undateable” premieres Thursday, May 29 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, both on NBC.
