“The Talk” co-host Sharon Osbourne‘s nasty words for the women of “The View” were the shot heard ’round the daytime TV world. One person who paid them no mind, however? “The View” co-host Whoopi Goldberg.
In fact, when TMZ caught up with Goldberg on Wednesday (Nov. 13), it seemed as if the EGOT winner hadn’t even heard Osbourne’s insult. When the cameraman helpfully reminded the host about the insult that had been lobbed her way, Goldberg replied, “You think that’s the first time that’s happened? Who cares?!”
Osbourne herself has backed away from her attack on “The View,” attempting to apologize for telling the ladies, save for Barbara Walters, to “go f*** themselves” while appearing on “The Arsenio Hall Show” on Nov. 6. On her own show the following day, she apologized to each “View” co-host individually for “trying to be funny at someone else’s expense.”
Do you think Goldberg has the right approach when it comes to handling Osbourne’s slam?
