After the surprise appearance of the “X-Men: Days of Future Past” cast at Comic-Con 2013, the first posters for the movie were released. Now, there’s a viral advertisement set inside the world of the movie.
The short video is a commercial for Trask Industries, the company responsible for the Sentinel robots that are wreaking havoc on the world in the future. They are the reason Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) is sent back in time to warn the mutants introduced in “X-Men: First Class.”
The head of Trask Industries is Bolivar Trask, played by Peter Dinklage. The video doesn’t show a full shot of the Sentinels, but gives the first glimpse at their design in the movie.
“X-Men: Days of Future Past” is due in theaters May 23, 2014.
