Adele is bringing couples together with more than just her emotional music these days. The singer kicked off her World Tour in Belfast on Monday (Feb. 29), where she urged fans to take part in the Leap Year tradition of women proposing to men on Leap Day.

Surprisingly, she actually got one fan to do it, and the crowd caught it all on film.

In the video, two fans make it up on stage, but the first turns out to be angling for a 21st birthday serenade instead of a proposal.

The second fan is more cooperative, climbing onto the stage and revealing that she’d proposed to her boyfriend earlier that day. Her boyfriend apparently gave her a maybe, which is not good enough for Adele.

“You need to say a proper yes, bruv!” Adele chastises him. She even gets the audience to help persuade the guy to matrimony. “After three, everyone, say, ‘Come on, Neil!'”

Neil accepts from his seat to loud cheers from the audience, and Adele even promises to attend to the wedding in Essex since it’s right down the road from her.
