Amy Schumer is gracing the cover of the July issue of Vogue, so as part of her interview for the magazine, she filmed a video wherein she and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour swap jobs for a day.

The funny part is — Schumer as the editor-in-chief of Vogue is probably fairly close to what would actually happen in that scenario, with a few things exaggerated for comedic effect, of course. But really, Schumer isn’t into fashion, so watching her be Wintour is both hilarious and spot-on.

As the comedian says in her interview, “[Fashion’s] just not my thing. I just have this sense of entitlement that I should be able to feel comfortable at all times, like I could go to bed at any moment in what I’m wearing … I think that there’s a misconception in fashion that everybody wants in. I am very happy to remain out.”

Whereas Wintour as a stand-up comic is kind of disappointing, because the video doesn’t actually let her be a stand-up comic. It’s edited to look as though she’s telling jokes and the audience is cracking up, but the video viewers aren’t privvy to any of the jokes. C’mon, guys — nobody could write Anna freakin’ Wintour some material that she could pull off? Pshaw.
