There are rules when it comes to making fun of a person’s sex life, and film critic Jackson Murphy just got schooled by the one and only Amy Schumer when he made fun of hers.
Both Schumer and Murphy were attending the 2016 Critics’ Choice Awards on Jan. 17, and Murphy was lucky enough to grab a selfie with the MVP Award and Best Actress in a Comedy Movie winner.
However, the man who goes by the name “LightsCameraJackson” on Twitter decided to tweet out this selfie with the following caption: “Spent the night with @amyschumer. Certainly not the first guy to write that. #CriticsChoiceAwards.”
Amy Schumer is allowed to make fun of her sexual life choices, which she does in her stand-up routines all the time. Jackson, however, who is a complete stranger to the actress and using Schumer’s photo to bolster his presence on Twitter, is not.
Schumer somehow saw this tweet and handled the situation perfectly. She responded with a tweet of her own, writing, “I get it. Cause I’m a whore? Glad I took a photo with you. Hi to your dad.”
Within an hour, Murphy not only deleted his prior tweet, but he also posted an apology.
