Actor-turned-politician-turned-actor Arnold Schwarzenegger is dipping a toe back into politics again, announcing that he will support fellow Republican John Kasich for president.

The first major endorsement for the Governor of Ohio, the 68-year-old actor will back up his support by traveling to Columbus and appearing alongside the candidate Sunday (March 6).

According to The Daily Caller, Schwarzenegger has referred to Kasich — who has recently set himself aside from the other three remaining candidates by refusing to sling mud — as “The Terminator.” The former California governor has maxed out his personal contribution limit of $2700 for Kasich’s campaign.

Schwarzenegger and Kasich have been friends for quite some time, with the former governor/movie star helping advise the current governor since he decided to jump into the race.

With or without the support of the Kindergarten Cop, Kasich has always been determined to win his own state -- and would be in quite a hole without it. If he does prevail over Donald Trump, Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz in Ohio's March 15 primary, it will be Kasich's first victory.
