After Kim Kardashian posted her latest nude photo, the backlash was swift and ruthless from the media and other celebrities.

One celebrity, however, is standing by Kim’s side. Bella Thorne tweeted her support of the actress Tuesday (March 8) morning.

After receiving countless tweets about the photo, Kim stood up for herself and her nude shot, sending sarcastic responses back at the people criticizing her. Most notably, she insulted 19-year-old actress Chloe Moretz, who urged her to be a better role model for girls.

Kardashian tweeted back, “let’s all welcome @ChloeGMoretz to twitter, since no one knows who she is. your nylon cover is cute boo.”

When asked about the situation on Twitter, Bella Thorne tagged both Kim Kardashian and Chloe Moretz in her response.

Thorne is a long-time friend of Kim’s younger sister Kylie Jenner, which might explain why she’s fallen on the Kardashian side of this particular Twitter feud. Still the argument is nuanced, and Thorne makes a good point about policing women for what they choose to do with their own bodies.

Unfortunately, her point might not reach Moretz, since the account tagged in the tweets does not belong to the actress but one of her fans instead.

But never fear, because John Leguizamo is here to defend Moretz, telling her, “You are real talent and women respect you. Don’t sweat #KimKardashian shade.”
