Two legendary R&B divas in one place? That’s enough to get anybody’s heart racing, but Mariah Carey and Beyonce snapping photos at a gala was actually to raise money for a heart disease foundation.

Carey posted a pic to Instagram captioned, “Two girls, one cause,” which included a tag for the Heartview Global Foundation. The foundation aims to identify heart disease in its latent stage, thereby allowing asymptomatic people to make lifestyle changes that will help prevent heart attacks, strokes or premature cardiac death. The foundation focuses on eating a heart-healthy diet by eating a lot of plant-based foods.

E! News reports that the two songbirds attended the gala to support Heartview founder Jonathon Schwartz.

“Mariah and BeyoncĂ© spent a lot of time chatting and were seen having a good time together,” says a source. “They both seemed relaxed and enjoying themselves. They both took photos with guests as well as with each other.”

During the auction portion of the evening, reportedly both Carey and Beyonce purchased portraits of Ray Charles, and the latter also purchased a six-course chef’s dinner for 12.
