Montel Williams is calling for an apology from the Daily Caller and its editor-in-chief Tucker Carlson after being called “the Uncle Tom of the 2016 presidential election” by Daily Caller writer Betsy Rothstein. Williams also wants Rothstein fired for her comments.

Williams’ outrage stems from a tweet by Rothstein implying that the talk show host is being a traitor to his race by supporting Republican candidate Gov. John Kasich and endorsing payday loans.

Rothstein and Williams have been fighting on Twitter about the presidential election, specifically the GOP candidates, for several months now. In August, Williams accused the Daily Caller of accepting money from Donald Trump in exchange for favorable coverage.

The feud originally started in May 2014, when the Daily Caller published a story with the headline “Furious Veteran Montel Williams UNLOADS on Obama,” which Williams demanded the publication correct, calling it a “sucker punch” that “distorted” his comments.
