Actor Jesse Williams and his wife, Aryn Drake-Lee, have welcomed their second child, according to Us Weekly.
The healthy baby boy is named Maceo, which is of Spanish origin and means “Gift of God.” The long-time couple managed to keep the exciting news quiet, as Maceo was born nearly two months ago. Maceo’s birth makes the duo’s 21-month old daughter Sadie a big sister.
Williams, known for playing Dr. jackson Avery on ABC’s hit medical drama “Grey’s Anatomy,” also enjoys the job of being a father. “I try to raise them with the greatest [values] from my life, but times are completely different now,” he says. “We were at an age where we didn’t have [Internet] or email addresses – it’s both exciting and terrifying.”
The couple met when Williams was still a school teacher and dated for five years before tying the knot on Sept. 1, 2012.
With the addition of Maceo, this reportedly marks the 22nd baby amongst the 15 series regulars on “Grey’s Anatomy.” There must be something in the water over at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital!
