“Tonight Show” host Jimmy Fallon is seriously funny, but seriously clumsy. Less than four months after being hospitalized for injuring his left hand, Fallon made another trip to the hospital after he tripped and fell while being honored by Harvard Lampoon, Harvard University’s humor magazine, in Cambridge, MA.
His fall was somehow captured by a party-goer at the event, who posted the video to Instagram.
“Everything is fine” a source tells People. “It was all part of the celebration in the street and some random girl kneeled down in front of him abruptly as he was turning around and he tripped over her because he didn’t see her.”
While Fallon was at the event to receive the coveted Elmer Award for Excellence in Humor, the late-night host had to leave the celebration to make a third recent trip to the hospital, the second happening after he chipped his front tooth trying to open tube of scar tissue repair gel for recovering finger injury back in August.
“A guy and a guy got out of the limo, and went in before him for like five minutes,” says an eyewitness. “They came out, waved to the car, Jimmy got out, and they all walked into [hospital] Mass General.”
With his right hand heavily bandaged, Fallon later returned to the party to keep the celebration going .
